    Creating a shine effect 
This tutorial with guide you through how to make your image have a moving light reflection in Flash.
You can see my example here
| 1. | Open Flash and create a new document. | 
| 2. | Go to file then import then chose import to library. | 
| 3. | Select the image that you wish to apply this effect to and import it in to the library. | 
| 4. | Drag the image from the library on to the canvas. | 
| 5. | Resize the canvas to fit your picture or resize your image to fit your canvas. | 
| 6. | Select the image with the Selection Tool | 
| 7. | Press Ctrl + C to copy the image. | 
| 9. | Press Ctrl + Shift + V to paste the image in the new layer in the position as the original image. | 
| 10. | Create a new layer and with the paint brush tool, set to black paint in the areas you want to apply the shine too. | 
| 11. | Right Click Layer 3 and select Mask | 
| 12. | Select Layer 2 and create a new layer. Layer 4 should be between layer 2 and layer 3 | 
| 13. | Select the rectangle tool and set the stroke color to transparent. | 
| 14. | For the background color of the rectangle, in the Color mixer panel create a gradient from transparent to white to transparent. by selection linear from the type box.

| 15. | Create a rectangle covering the whole height of the canvas but not too wide. | 
| 16. | Right click the rectangle and select Convert to Symbol | 
| 17. | Call it shine and set to graphic. | 
| 18. | On layer 4, frame 25 press F6 to create a new keyframe. | 
| 19. | In frame 25 move the shine graphic to the other side of the canvas. | 
| 20. | For the rest of the layers press F5 on frame 25. | 
| 21. | On layer 4 with the shine, right click around frame 15 and select Create Motion Tween |
